Brain Rush — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026 (crash reporting and update checks added)

Brain Rush is a puzzle game that runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that stores your progress. This page explains the little data that does leave your device, and why.

What stays on your device

Your coins, scores, streaks, and settings are saved locally on your device using standard Android app storage. Uninstalling the app deletes this data. We never see it, and it is never sent anywhere.

Advertising

Brain Rush shows ads served through Google AdMob to keep the app free. Depending on your region and consent choice, AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show more relevant ads. You can review or change your ad consent choice at any time from the app's Settings screen, under "Advert privacy choices" (shown where applicable under GDPR/UK rules).

Google's own privacy policy explains how it handles data used for advertising: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Crash reports

If the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, it sends a crash report through Google Firebase Crashlytics so we can find and fix the problem. A report contains technical details only: what went wrong in the app's code, the app version, the device model and Android version, and a random installation identifier used to group reports from the same install. It does not contain your name, contacts, location, or anything you have typed, and it is not used for advertising.

Firebase's privacy information is available at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

App updates

The app asks Google Play whether a newer version is available so it can offer to update. This check goes to Google Play only and sends nothing about you beyond what Google Play itself already uses to deliver updates.

Permissions

The app uses internet access to request and display ads, send crash reports, and check for updates. No microphone, storage, camera, or location permissions are used.

Children

Brain Rush does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are requested with child-directed treatment and under-age-of-consent flags left at their default (unset) values, and content is capped at a general audience rating.
